Movie Lakshya-Looking away from common perspective

Some times its feels logical to go back in time and analyze the concepts behind the movies that were released a decade ago. Actually these movies are a kind of inspiration, even though they didn’t do good business on box office. So, here I am watching Lakshya and putting light on some thoughts that engulfed my mind watching this movie.
For most viewers this movie might be a motivation to do something big in their lives or to even join the Indian Army. But, while looking at the motivational aspect of this movie, we missed to pay notice to some other realities. I know Lakshya is more about realizing the efforts that army personnel put for safeguarding its country. But, let put some time into analyzing some things that we didn’t realized almost 10 years ago while watching this movie.

Make-up can make you look a lot younger than your actual age

Everybody knows that…. But, Hritik Roshan or, for that matter, Mr Big B in this movie are the live examples. Recall the look of Hritik at the time when he was dumped by his girlfriend for dumping the only best decision he took in the movie-turning into a nation lover Lieutenant. My God!!! The man looked as if he was 21. Or, think how dashing Mr Bachchan looked in the role of a serving Army general when his actual age at that time was somewhere between 65 and 70. Make changes your looks…..hence proved.

Much as it is easy to witness the life in army on TV, it is difficult to live

You all would agree with it. Only the parents with a strong heart and with a desire to do something for their nation can let their child take admission in the Army. Even the hard hearted father, the role played by Boman Irani in this movie, could not agree to his son serving in the India army-call it ego or insecurity!! You have to accept your partners dying in the battle fields, staying away from your family during Diwali and put your country on the top of everything…. Not everybody can do that.

I know you readers might not have paid any heed to these points… Now you can….

Perceptions can be misleading……

This is one fundamental everybody’s life work on… perceptions and yes, they can be misleading.
You, by ‘you’ I mean all of us, always try understand what the person sitting opposite you is thinking and… it is then you form a perception, be it negative or positive, be it right or wrong.
Our lives revolve around understanding what is going on around us and amid this understanding procedure we tend go wrong at many places. Like, we have always looked Ramayana from the perspective of our very own God- the Great Shri Ram. For our ancestors Lord Rama will always be the hero of the story-the protagonist basically-A character around which the entire story moves. Have we ever tried to understand why Ravana stood against Ram? Perhaps no. Or, even if we tried to assimilate what once happened in the past, Ravana always will stay a villain. This is what we have been fed with by our mother, father and also, our forefathers.
There are very less people who know that actual reason for what Ravan did and that is-Ravana conducted all the bad acts, acts that were condemnable, just to attain moksha. He was actually given two options by the God. The first was that that he could bear the ramifications of his sins for seven births. Or, he can choose to be, what we call, Danva and attain freedom from his sins within three births. This is where his perception worked and he chose to be a bad guy in the story and get killed by Lord Ram.
What he did was right according to him. But, we won’t understand that because we have been asked to accept that what Ravana did was wrong.
I still see people celebrating the day Dessehra as the victory of good over evil and it is because they grant Dessehra to be such. On the other hand, there are people who respect Ravana for his knowledge and education. Whom to follow and what truth swallow…. This is your perception…

Let your dog feel that he/she is an important part of your family

Would you ever let an adopted child live with a notion that he not the part of your family? Most of us would have ‘no’ as an answer to this question. If you are foster parent to a kid and love him like ‘he is the most important part of your life’ then, you it would be easy for you to keep an open heart towards an adopted puppy. Trust me, it not difficult to do so if you are an affectionate human being. What I want to say here is, whether you have purchased a puppy or adopted a stray dog, the puppy has the right for being loved. Just do not let him feel that you are foster parents to him; treat him like he is an important part of your family.
Your very small gestures can make your puppy feel that he is not there to be neglected or meagerly as a source of entertainment. I am not asking you spent grands; these are some very small things that require your keen attention. Here they are:
Try to look at him when he is looking at you:
Yes, not a very difficult thing to do!!! It is just the way of reciprocating to the love that your dog has in his eyes for you. Talk to him, ask him what he needs and behold that beautiful sight. Your dog also stares at you to communicate that he needs somethings. If you are able to understand that, your dog is convinced that you love him.
Feed him and feed him well:
You have royal canine, you have chew sticks and you have biscuits to keep your pup healthy. But, keeping him fit is your way of showing that you love him, which he might not understand. Try his way and share the food you have in your platter with your dog. I am not asking you to feed him Manchurian with schezwan sauce. But, a piece of hot dog or stake might delight him. While having your dinner allow your dog to share a bite or two with you and he would not stop wagging his tail for another hour.
Share your bed with him:
I know you will be having your partner lying on the other side of bed. But, do not keep your dog away from jumping on to the bed with you as well. There is a very strong emotional bond that a dog shares with his master. To prove that and ensure a special place in his life, sometimes, your dog might run around your bed to sleep with you. If he does so, let him sleep with you and let feel safe and cozy.
Licking, licking and licking!!!
I just love it when my dog does that after I reach home from my office. This is his way showing that he missed you and allowing him to lick your face would be your way of saying that you missed him too. I know god has made some difference between humans and dogs. But don’t worry; vets are there to bridge that gap. With all the vaccination and hygiene routine, everything should be good. Regular bathing and teeth cleaning will keep the germs away from your dog.
Buy him toys
It would cheer you up seeing you pup fighting with his favorite stuff toy. He is not asking you to buy an Xbox or a play station. Just a few stuff toys and chew toys, and joy of having these toys on his face would be irresistible. A basket ful of toys is enough to make him realize that how much you love him.

Your dog would be your best friend if you will make him feel that you love him a lot. And addressing my dog as ‘him’ and not ‘it’ is my way of telling people around me that he is an important part of life. This may grammatically wrong but, from an emotional point of view it is true.

Cheers to the freaking weekend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once upon a time, though it looks like I will be telling a fairy tale, there were saturdays and sundays. My story here will look more like beauty and the beast, beauty being me and my job being the beast and I am, apparently, in love with it. This is the turmoil of month of January 2016 that will be taking a sophisticated form, when, in fact in my heart I am addressing it other wise. My month of January     had five staurdays of which three were working and I am sure that would be enough to manifest what I would have gone through. After all this when came Saturday and Sunday, nothing was most awaited but these two days. It was like a heavenly feeling, finally after so after many days of typing and ideating my mind ended up saying 'not anymore'. Now suddenly there is feeling that why am I discussing January in month of February. It is the accumulated frustration of 'getting to work alot and now, not getting to work at all' that is getting out. So, in short I was pissed and I am pissed. So, I thought to put all the annoyance and aggravation into the single post and here I am having no Idea of what I am writing, all I know is that it is weekend and I am lovin it.......... sitting in my quilt...........

Nature at its full swing
‘Play with nature and nature plays you back’, bitter but truth. This reality has been accepted quite late, when damage has been done. Kashmir, prominently known as the as the heaven of India, is hiked up as one of the most beautiful places on the earth.  Who would have known the plight of the city? The state of Jammu and Kashmir was swept by the by the rain that had hit the state recently. This is probably the most enraged gestures shown by the nature against the ignorance the mankind is posing towards our mother nature. This is just a one incident to quote. Every monsoon, apart from the bestowing us with the streams of water for irrigation, has some drastic damagers with the buckets of water. If recent past is visited, almost every monsoon has posed some disaster for the country.  Every year the rain disasters have hit some or the other city, may it be south India or U.P. or Bihar, and millions of people were left unattended under this unfortunate state. Not just India, many other countries are also affected by such a massive destruction. All this can be ascribed to the large-scale activities to aggressively bring about development and growth. And for this reason our leaders guided to scribble the nature. Extensive cutting of trees and encroachment of the water prone areas were given a green light to build, build and build. But now is the time to understand that all this has to be halted to prevent such damages from erupting over and over again.

Friends, though not for ever
‘People come people go’ this is the truth of life. Our common perception is that, friends stay forever, and the ones who don’t are not friends. Is this actually true??????...... May be for some people, but not for me. Some people are very precious for our life, but it’s not necessary that they will stay with you forever. You meet new groups at every turn of your life. One thing I would to convey to everyone reading this blog is that, cherish the memories and the time spend within your peer group, even though they may not last forever. There is no doubt to the fact that good friends are always beside you in the part and parcel of life, but sometimes there absence make you strong enough to bear the bad times all by yourself. And who knows, maybe someone else is waiting for you to hold your quivering hands in the cold hearted horde. Always make space for new friends in your heart, while keeping the lovely old ones alive in your memories.

                                     HOPES are UNDYING

"I dream to become a writer and i hope to fulfill my dream someday."
We wish or dream and then hope that it comes true. All we have to do is- keep going. Even if at some point we feel that we are failing, there is still a hope that yes it'll happen,if not today or tomorrow, then any time- sooner or later.
"I've always wanted to be writer. But this dream of mine seems to be falling apart."
This is true for many of us- A fitfull event. We start loosing hope, but should never let it die. We should never let our dreams fade away. And this what triggers you to keep your hopes high and then one fine day you suddenly realize that you are what you've always dreamed to be.
"I always wanted to be a writer, but it didn't happen."
Even this is true. Has happened to me. I wanted to be a cost accountant. But I guess my fate didn't want me to be one. And now here i am trying to proceed as a content writer trying to write my first blog. A whole hearted thanks to my Mentor- Shine Kapoor. Destiny always have something for everyone. Never loose your hopes if you could'nt get wat you wanted. Just hope to find a right path, what your fate has already decieded for you.

                            Therefore HOPES are perennial
